Make It Heaven Noetic Field Counseling
In my book, You Can Make It Heaven: How to Enrich Your Life with Abundance and Loving, I reference a Magic Eye picture as an analogy for life. The experiences, challenges, disappointments, hurts and betrayals create a dot-based reality that defines a 'world-view'. And it is this world view that we spend most of our time, upholding, defending, rationalizing and defining ourself by. I call this experience the 'drama-trauma human nature playing field." Until something occurs to get our attention we have very little awareness of what has shaped this 'story-based' worldview. But one day, someone or something comes along and says, "Oh but look over there. Those people seem to have a completely different world-view. And look how happy, alive and joy-ful they are." I refer to this experience as 'the divine cocreation playing field." You may think that outside circumstances like education, financial status, heritage or advanced skills decide whether or not we find ourself on one field or the other? But what I have discovered is that the keys to letting go of that dot-based 'story' worldview and moving onto the divine 'cocreation' reality are inside - and each person has the birthright to unlock their holiness and shift beyond what no longer is working for them. You are more than your thoughts, feelings, imagination or past conditionings. You are multi dimensional. The energy field around the body, commonly called the aura, contains the greater knowing of your divine self. The aura, or noetic field (based on the Greek term 'noegenesis' which means full knowledge) is the lens through which you see the world. When the aura is distorted from unresolved past experiences so is your perception of and connection to your divine source. As you are healing a current delimma we also focus on clearing that delimma from the levels of your aura. This process is often compared to seeing with 'new' eyes. Your perception shifts. A holy other reality comes into view. The 'story'of your life is replaced with the truth of who you are - your soul. With practice you begin working masterfully with the human nature and fashion an expanded worldview. Then life becomes heavenly both inside and out. I had to laugh. How many times have I heard the same words spoken in my office. This client, however, was almost 60 years old and had several successful careers. I decided I better ask him what he meant by those words. "Yes, I have done alot of things in my life - the list would probably impress you, but somewhere inside I really don't feel fulfilled with any of it. I want to spend the rest of my energy and time doing something that connects to me and I recognize it's worth." "So you are no longer interested in 'doing' in the world for acceptance, recognition or validation? And when we want to 'do' in the world from who we are - then we have to spend sometime finding out who that is - in other words, who are you?" "I have no idea, really, beyond my career role. I agree, that's a great place to start. I want to know who I am. " Story #2 -Help! I'm doing it again.An attractive, intelligent, single woman sat down in the chair expressing what was up for her, "I'm letting him take over my life. Help! I have been here before and it feels way too familiar. I have to do this relationship thing differently this time or I know what will happen - and I don't want the results." When I suggested that our coaching would focus on her relationship with herself her first response was not postivie "I'm tired of working on me. I've been in therapy and read lots of self-help books. I just want new tools to do it differently." "Well, if having new tools worked my guess is that somewhere in your therapy or on the pages of a self-help book you would have found them. There's more going on within the energy field of who you are that isn't supporting your wish to change directions. It's like your words are saying one thing but your unconscious unresolved beliefs are saying something completely different." That was an ah-ha moment."
