Investments that yield GREAT Returns

I remember when I went through bankruptcy. I was 33 years old, married to an oil and gas producer and living a million dollar + lifestyle. The evening that my husband came home to tell me the inevitable I had many questions. But the questions that he could not answer and the one that brought forward the MOST fear was - How will I live without ...? What will happen if ... ?

Snap shot of my life at that time - Mother of two children below the age of 3 years old; marriage that was rocky; unconscious about who I was really and not even equipped to face this 2X4 head on. At that point in my life I invested my time, energy and money in what I thought would bring me happiness through life's many ups and downs. But when a major personal life storm destroyed all those outer symbols of safety and security, I discovered I had no inner sanctuary where I could go for comfort, peace, solace and rest. I was truly bankrupt.

What I am writing about TODAY, as I read the headlines of yet another failed financial institution that I know will effect millions of people (inner and outer), is what I have learned about the wisdom of investing in your Self and storing up warehouses of inner wealth, riches, abundance and treasures of YOU.

Those events when I was 33 years old catapulted me into a crash course of finding out what had LASTING value and how to ride the waves of uncertainty and fear.

Let me explain.

This 'S'elf is the authentic YOU, the Divine within, the Soul, whatever you want to call it. What is unique about investing in Self is how well it delivers when FEAR or DISAPPOINTMENT or SURVIVAL issues kick in.

Your Divine Self is your Source - not your Roth IRA, Boss, job benefits, mortgage, marriage, good looks, __________(put your symbol in here) or social standing. How can I say that? Because I tried to make them ALL the source of my well being.

When you invest in your Self and discover the guidance, strength, safety, loving and joy within the outer world AND the ego mind that upholds it at all costs takes a back seat priority. The 2x4s of life can be weathered with grace and peace. Those panic emotional and mental reactions inside can be mastered with loving, acceptance, compassion and given a new shift of reality.

Yes, it takes practice. Yes, every thing you need to begin you already have.
